This 10,000-square-foot estate is located in a private neighborhood in Atherton California, and the reconstruction and remodel was done during the 2020-2021 pandemic. Unable to travel, the homeowners—a married couple with three children—decided to transform the new house into a Resort-Style Home which includes a gym, a pool house, and a pickleball court. The client had a vision of her family being able to feel like they were on vacation.
The professionally designed and constructed interiors are welcoming with the owners wanting the home to be inviting to the family as well as welcoming to their many guests. The home has mammoth scale and the interior design was done to minimize the newly sheet rocked walls with a layering colors, patterns, and antique rugs.
